Gone Home, Video Game Review

In Gone Home you arrive home to an empty house, after having been on a trip through Europe for the past year.

I don’t really want to say much about Gone Home, as the joy of the game is unraveling the story for yourself as you find notes throughout the house.

Graphics:

The graphics are pleasing enough to successfully convey the story, though don’t look too closely at the toothbrushes…

Sound:

Good narration, and good atmosphere.

Gameplay:

I hope you like reading notes. But really, Gone Home is more of an interactive story than a video game, so gameplay isn’t very important here.

Story:

This is why you should play this game, but as I said, no details so you can discover it for yourself.

Replay Value:

Moderately low.

Score: 10/10
